Unspoken Thoughts

Precious sentences never told,
different feelings remain uncertain.
Silent words lifting up,
lifting up the velvet curtain.
It rises up into the air,
waiting to hit the ceiling.
The feelings waiting to present themselves,
ready for the revealing.
They came from distant places,
secret depths in my mind,
Waiting for their big appearance,
ready to sneak up from behind.
Silent words linger inside,
breaking through the thick brick walls,
Expecting the sign from outside,
blurting out when duty calls.
A certain someone was the trigger,
the one who let it burst.
The only one who made it tingle,
tingle so hard, she was the first.
Thoughts in my head causing trouble,
running amok and breaking out.
Escaping their cells in which they were put,
until the first one began to shout.
Shouting so hard I couldn’t ignore,
even if I wanted to.
Screaming hard inside my ear,
telling me I cared for you.
The only way to share your knowledge,
untangling the hardest knots.
Is saying what you really feel,
telling your unspoken thoughts.Waardering:
